Art on the Map 2013

29 June to 20 July 2013

In 2003 the Uist Art Association got together and created, organised and ran Art on the Map, an open studio trail throughout the Uists.

Now we welcome you to the 2013 event. Taking part in the trail is an ideal way to see the amazing range of work from the creative people of the islands as well as the stunning scenery, and an opportunity to meet the artists and makers in person.

From South Uist through Benbecula and Grimsay and up to North Uist – a truly inter-island event for the Southern Isles.

This year’s Art on the Map trail is sponsored by Stepping Stone Restaurant, Benbecula; Maclean’s Bakery, Benbecula; and Hebridean Smokehouse, North Uist, indicated by the green dots on the map. Drop in for a visit between venues!

Entrance to all venues is free. Look out for the distinctive black and white signs around the islands. Please note that the majority of studios will not be able to accept credit cards.

Click the venue numbers for further information about 2013 venues and artists. Venues marked with letters are open all year round!
